All of our watchkeepers have been given the status of “Key Workers” as Declared Assets of HM Coastguard. They have been issued with a letter of authorisation to this affect.
RECOMMENDATIONS From SSG OFFICERS 5th November 2020

(3) Carry “KEY WORKERS” Authorisation as sent to your Station Controller/Manager From HMCG/MCA.
(4) Wear a Mask if any contact outside your station bubble.
(5) Sanitize all work stations.
(6) Any further recommendation your station has in force.

For use during lock down, we suggest that all watchkeepers during duty hours and travelling to and from there station.
