Sadly I have heard today that Len Butcher, retired Trustee and Treasurer of The Seasafety Group, passed away over the weekend. Sadly have to advise you that Bill Wilson the Manager of Hartlepool Coastwatch Station has passed away. “Fair Winds and Following Seas to you Sir. Stand down, Duty Done“. Sadly the Station has also had to close down due to the shortage of Watchkeepers also.
