Covid-19 Test & Protect App

Both England and Scotland have now released a Test and Protect App We would strongly recommend that you download it to your smart phone to help fight this dreadfull disease. England Download by visiting Scotland Download by visiting  


Information This app is highly recommended by SSG to be downloaded to all Watchkeepers Smartphones (if they have one) for a land based incident , it is now used by Emergency Services to locate the position of the emergency quickly. Available on iPhone and Android devices Virus-free.


All of our stations are now open but I am afraid they cannot accept visitors at this time, times of opening may be not the same as before


INFORMATION   Re Redcar Coastwatch   As from 18th July 2020 Redcar Coastwatch are to restart their watches with a reduced service to start.                          


INFORMATION Just been advised by Pakefield Coastwatch Pakefield Coastwatch they will be standing watch again on Monday 6th July. Duty hours 10:00 – 18:00


INFORMATION   Hartlepool Coastwatch station we be re-opening its watches this coming Sunday (21st June 2020)


UPDATE Sunderland Coastwatch are  to start watches as from this time with reduced hours. 11.00 to 14.00 hoping to increase hours over time.
